Hey everyone! As many of you know, it has been quite a stressful winter. My mom was in a serious car accident, but thankfully is recovering at home now. It will be a long process; so keep her in our thoughts and prayers. Everyone has been so wonderful already and I know that has meant the world to her and our family. For me, it is difficult to be thousands of miles away; so I appreciate all the that has been done for her. Gavin and I were able to go home ( actually to Omaha where she was in the hospital) for a few days and hope to get back shortly for another visit. Our lives here in California have continued with more milestones. Gavin with teeth! He has 2 bottom and the 2 on top are coming through as I write! He is pulling himself up and cruising along furniture. Since he is nearly 8 months old - we feel by 9 months he will be walking! I don't know if I am ready for all that!! Kailyn is talking more and more everyday. She talks to Jake " Jake, no bark!" and loves to count and say her colors. She refers to herself as princess ( oh man are we in trouble!) but continues to be the loving big sister. Mitch has just suceeded in establishing a new junior all-american ( bascially pee-wee ) football chapter in Cathedral City. It has been alot of extra time and effort, but it will pay off in the long run. Hopefully we will continure to build the football tradition in C.C. I am still busy at my same job, but now I have fridays off! I have been taking cake decorating classes with a friend of mine, Tina. It has been a lot of fun learning to make so many different things! It will be fun to make cakes and cupcakes for Kailyn and Gavin and all the events to come!
